Has this been implemented?
Oleg Kovalov
Same for us. We've different projects and would like to combine all navbar items into groups.
Oleg Kovalov
Wait, isn't it done in https://github.com/facebook/docusaurus/pull/2487 ?
Joshua Chen
Oleg Kovalov: This one is about _nested_ dropdowns, not simple dropdowns.
Oleg Kovalov
Joshua Chen: oof, my bad.

Interesting.
I don't know if we'll build this soon, but we'd like at least to enable you to implement your own navbar items.
Can you explain better why you want this kind of dropdown navigation tree?

Sébastien Lorber: In my case, we have in the same Docusaurus multiple products, this products contains multiple features.
Current navbar items are the product names, but inside them are custom landing pages, having the landing page links inside the navbar popup will make super easy to navigate through.

Sébastien Lorber: In my case, I have multiple platforms to teach, and in each platform, we have multiple libraries, packages and ... which can be categorized using a nested navbar.
Also, in my other websites, and generally in other showcases, nested navbars can contain products and their features. or like categories of products and the brands and their filters.

Sébastien Lorber: We have a very similar situation - we would like to have multiple options (through dropdowns or checkboxes) that would select a suitable document set to present. Could this be done by just switching out sidebars? Is it even possible to switch the sidebars based on user selected variables?
