IF YOU MAKE A BIG PROJECT THAT CHANGES ASSETS such as pdf files, there is no clear guidance about how to store them in different versions. there is no guidance at all. and putting static file inside docs file is not a good solution. There should be a guidance about how to store them. The best way fits is to have version-n folder inside static folder and store them there. Please fix it ASAP, Thanks!
