Different "variants" of the same docs structure

When writing tutorials, one may need to provide the content in different "flavors" (e.g., different prog. language and IDE combinations). Currently this can be done by using tabs or by embedding the variants into the docs structure. It would be nice if we could instead have a dropdown selector for something like this.

Add dropdown in markdown just like Tabs

Similar to tabs, is there a way to have a dropdown menu to render customized content according the value chosen: https://docusaurus.io/docs/markdown-features/tabs
Similar to how this Getting Started guide is: balena.io/docs/learn/getting-started
I would really like to have a dropdown to select a device Type and then render partial with the value of the deviceType chosen from the dropdown. In an advanced scenario, choosing the value could send an API request and pull dynamic information regarding that devicetype.

Thanks @Rudra Sen for the clarification. If you have a similar usecase, would you be interested in creating this plugin or markdown feature to be added to docusaurus?
Rudra Sen
Currently no markdown/flavoured markdown supports it. It has to be created as an external component I think so. Not from docusaurus.

This is very close to what I need as well. I think there should be dropdown component as well which can be populated using maybe a JSON file or something?
This custom docs site uses it and is the only blocker for us in shifting to docusaurus.

It would definitely be nice. We would probably offer a generic "sidebar switch".
