Click the heading to copy the heading bookmark link to the clipboard.

I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that when you click on the heading's bookmark, it also copies the link? Right now, you click the heading for the link, and then you must go to the address bar and copy the link. Is there a way to make it just one click that copies the link to the clipboard? In other words, make it a one-step process instead of two.

Would love to see this added! It's a quick change, and it'd save a lot of unnecessary clicks. (I also thought the hash links were just broken the first time I used them).

Do you have examples of sites using this UX? TBH, it's quite subtle to me.

Joshua Chen: Here's a sample. If you click on the "App components," it copies the header link to the clipboard. https://developer.android.com/guide/components/fundamentals
Atlassian even implements it in their dev docs (and I believe the new version of Confluence). https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/security-overview/
This is the "one-step" process I was suggesting because you don't have to go to the address bar to copy the header/bookmark link after clicking the header.
This would remove the step of going to the address bar to select the URL and copying it to the clipboard.
